Venice knitting retreat 10-14 July 2017for website

Join us for a Friends of Knit for Peace knitting retreat to Venice. An opportunity to sight-see and make new friends based in a 16th Century Palazzo in the Dorsoduro district. The Hotel is wonderfully well positioned, in the Dosodouro district, which isn’t too tripperish, very near to vaporetto stops, and within walking distance of all the great sights.  We’ll be knitting in the salon and the garden terrace. The Hotel is air conditioned.

Costs from £700 for four nights (per person sharing, depending on room chosen) include breakfast and local taxes. The area is full of restaurants, pizzerias, etc., and eating out is inexpensive. It’s easy to find return flights for around £100.  Full details are on the website. The price includes a donation to Knit for Peace

Here are some comments from this year’s guests: “The atmosphere was warm and relaxed”   “Good company, good food, and good fun.” “I’ve loved every minute of the stay”
