How to organise a wool swap:
choose a date choose a venue e.g cafe or church hall let people know: friends, family, knitting groups, posters in schools, local library etc ask them to bring yarn tell local radio and newspapers

Decide whether:
to charge for admission charge for wool allow swaps auction the good stuff serve refreshments pre-sort (if you can be bothered)

Send money raised and leftover wool to:
Knit for Peace, Radius Works, Back Lane, London, NW3 1HL who will use it to support knitters in poor communities and distribute donated knitting to those in need
