Our knitting packs for refugees can provide great comfort for people who have been forced to flee their homes, as well as provide practical help by making items to keep warm.

Knit for Peace works!

Volunteers at a South London Donation hub model a selection of Knit for Peace items, to be given to those in need.
AK, now in the UK, a refugee from Ukraine is 6 months pregnant.
Here she is modelling the knitted garments for herself and the baby clothes.  Thank you knitters!

Knitting needed

Currently, the items we are most in need of are:

* cardigans in adult sizes
* dressing gowns (pattern here)
* scarves, socks and gloves in all sizes
* medium or large blankets
* shawls for the elderly
